Tobacco Prevention Partners

Collaborations can strengthen tobacco prevention efforts in your schools. There may be an opportunity for partnerships with organizations providing tobacco prevention services in your community.

Collaborating with Your Local Lead Agency

The California Tobacco Prevention Program (CTPP) provides funding to support community-level tobacco prevention efforts; these services are administered by Local Lead Agencies (LLAs). LLAs typically manage tobacco control programs, and some lead coalitions that mobilize the community to tackle tobacco prevention efforts.

Consider how you can partner with your LLA and local tobacco coalition to drive awareness, engagement, and advocacy efforts among students, families, and the community.
